I am often awake through the night, as people here who know me know that I'm in bed all day and often sleep then. Early hours this morning, I have no idea why, or what prompted my thoughts, but I suddenly thought of MADELEINE McCANN.

Like I said, I have no idea why I would think of this little girl completely out of the blue.
I went onto the website to read the up to date situation, and it is truly heart breaking to read what her family is going through.

It's hard to imagine it's been 6 long years since her dissapearance. The publicity has died down, but we must not forget her, or give up hope. We must find her. She belongs with her family.

I just wanted to remind folks here, of her, and her dissapearance. It is easy to forget, I admit until this morning I can't honestly remember when Madeleine last came to my mind. When I read the reports, and pleas from her parents it is heart breaking. The pain is unimaginable, their day by day coping is remarkable given that she was only 3 when she dissapeared and now she's 9.

A reminder to never give up our prayers and hope for Madeleine. We must all remember her, and be aware of anything no matter how tiny that will help solve this puzzle and reunite her with her family. If you read the information on the website, there are various ways to assist the Mccanns. They are so grateful for the huge support and prayers they receive, but their plight continues. Every day, there must be so many reminders and thoughts of their little girl, and the need for her safe return, it must hurt beyond belief.
I won't list the ways we all can help, maybe you'll take a moment to view the website.

May I ask though, each of you please, please say a prayer for Madeleine's safe return home. Please be vigilant and keep her in your thoughts, and remember we are now looking for a 9 year old, not a toddler.

Please join me and pray that Madeleine is found soon.

We must not forget she is still missing. We must not give up hope.

Please remember Madeleine, and her family in your prayers.

has it really been 6 years?

i remember it as if it were yesterday.. i followed the story on sky news (we all did) from the start, to the investigation, to the family's reaction... it's so sad a girl as young as 4 was taken from her family

what i remember more than anything else- is that it was almost her birthday at the time

from what i remember, i don't think their's been any news item about her body being found

praying always for the family... what a horrible thing to happen

oh yeah.... and something i forgot to say:

i heard all the part about kate being to blame.. and her blood being found in kate's car and on her toy, but i don't believe a word of it

Yes, I suppose I think of Madeleine quite often as it was so hugely publicised and news worthy. The scandal that briefly got attached wrongly.
Someone know where she is.
Does she go to school ? Does she remember her family ? Is she safe, looked after, and well ?
Come home soon dear Maddy, safe, please God.
