Puppy Bowl IX, Animal Planet's parody of the American Superbowl, will air on cable repeatedly this coming Sunday (the day of the Superbowl, of course).

My dog  mastered the "fetch" command. He would communicate he wanted something, and I would fetch it.

I have watched it every year, it is really very cute,
Subaru, being the quirky car company they are will be running ads for the new Forester during Puppy Bowl. |

Lizardlady, The Puppy Bowl is an event on the Animal Planet network that airs the same time as the SuperBowl, as an alternative choice. It's puppies playing and running around, with a humorous announcer calling the "game." There are also special moments with kittens, hamsters and Meep the Bird (a cockatiel)!

What did everyone think of this year's Puppy Bowl who watched it? I wasn't crazy about some of the changes they made....the cuts to the other Animal Planet stars kind of annoyed me and I missed the referee calling fouls (like ruff play) LOL
