I am working on a book project that I'm in the middle of turning in to a blog for the hopes of catching a publisher's eye. The blog isn't going to be as nice as I'd like because my knowledge of HTML is limited and the book is graphic intensive and I don't have the funds to pay for a specialized template, but I'll make due.

My question is this: I am looking for sites which I can get free pics and/or clip art from without worrying about copyright issues or downloading stuff. My concept book has a lot of art that I got elsewhere and if there is any chance of it being copyright protected I'm attempting to switch it out for other stuff. In some cases I may need to do without, but I thought I'd ask. I don't mind giving credit but don't want to go through the hassle of asking for permission over and over again except in special circumstances. Thanks for any input you may have!

Once the blog is up and running (early next week), I'll put a thread in the Creative forum as well as probably bump this up for anyone who'd like to check it out.

I use photobucket. I'm not sure all the pics are uncopywrited (? Is that a word?), but I usually have no problems.

I checked it out. Any pics that are put as public access are available for anyone to copy and use so I'd be able to use them. Very cool. Thanks a bunch.
