sweet post. a lot of "wisdom" gets overlooked when we rush past the geezer or geezette without even giving them a second thought.

OUch, that just seemed so sad to me on a level.....I appreciate all the wisdome etc, but the fact of her invisablity-so true in our culture, not so in others-AI know that's not the point, but definetly what came up for me. Growing old sucks!

I am happy to say that my Mom is 72 and so far, is far from overlooked. She has many more social skills than I do at 47. Dad is still with her, and she also has many sisters near her to keep her active.
