Well done Radio Flyer. Please stay determined. Your life will only get better. And you can afford something nice with the money you spent on cigarettes. I'm going on 8 years now since I last smoked and have never looked back.

Wow! I am cheering for you both! You are choosing to be non-smokers!
Good for you and everyone around you too. Smoke-free air is sooo good

It keeps getting better as time goes on. Even another week will show a difference.
Keep celebrating your milestones, they are so important and they are earned with hard work and determination!

I quit 8 years ago, after more than 35 years of smoking. If I can be of any help to you along this journey, that I respect so much, please feel free to PM me!
Thanks for this!

Great job!!

When I quit smoking, 20 years ago, I set the money I would've spent on cigarettes aside for a reward to myself. Every day, a couple of dollars went into a tin. In a rather short period of time, I had $100 to spend on whatever I wanted!

You can do it ~ we're rooting for you and AJ!!

Mind blowing radio_flyer!!!:exciting:
Day 7.. no smoking..

Both quitting really does make it easier. I was an asthmatic smoker, a real hoot, no? Emergency inhaler in one hand & cigarette in the other . Good grief what an idiot--Life got lots easier faster.

Lots of folks that responded have quit. Going to have to say to those that quit a big "wow".. and thumbs up to you. Eight years and 20 years is wonderful.. I am struggling. I really, really, really, really, really want a cigarette. I really, really, really, really won't smoke . Guess I'm going through the crazies/withdrawl. Day 9. shrugs shoulders......I can do it..

You are new at this too, Meonly. You made it 6 weeks without cravings.. And now you've been hit with cravings. What a bummer. I thought that after the first week or two the cravings would vanish... Looks like I was wrong........Keep fighting the cravings. You can do it. Just think of all that money you are saving..

i can't say i am as good as them and congradulations, i have been on e-ciggarrettes for almost 2 years now, no smell, ashtrays, its not as good as quitting but i'm alot happier and saving more money. I hope someday to be without the e-cigg too,
