looking for some volunteer work
I have been looking for some volunteer work lately and I still have not been able to find any. the stupid librarian did not even notify about the job at the library.it's been 2 months. i don't think that she's considering me and i don't think that any of them actually want me there. they're so judgmental. like a friend of mine got me the application and i didn't even get it. that's so not fair. when is she ever going to notify me? Are you aware your attitude ("stupid librarian") might be getting communicated by your body language or something? You might consider Oprah's tactic of starting a gratefulness diary, where every night you write down 5 things that happened that day that you are grateful for. Then see if more positive things start happening in your life.

Maybe you can go to the library and ask for a cart of books to shelve. Then proceed to put them away. They might be surprised into giving it to you.

Some state and local communities have a volunteer center, where volunteer opportunities are centralized. They can match you up with a volunteer opportunity.

You have a similar thread under social chat. You don't cast aspersions upon the librarian's intellect in those posts like you did in this one.
