2 to 3 pounds of Goldfish crackers a week???

Woman finds God on a Goldfish cracker | News - Home

Quote:
A Florida woman snacking on her favorite salty treat found what she calls a sign from God on one of her Goldfish crackers.
Patti Burke told Florida Today she thought Pepperidge Farms was running some kind of promotion when she spotted a crown and a cross imprinted on the cracker she was about to eat during Holy Week.
"They called me back and said there’s no way this could have been printed like that in the factory," the Melbourne woman told the newspaper. "They said it sounds like something miraculous happened."
Burke eats 2 to 3 pounds of Goldfish crackers in a week.
After hearing her pastor's Easter Sunday sermon on Jesus' resurrection, she told USA Today she believes the cracker is a sign that God is present in everyday life.
Burke hasn't decided what to do with her holy cracker yet. She carries it around in an earring box padded with gauze.

She might be seeing Jesus soon, if she keeps eating 3 pounds of Goldfish Crackers lol. You're taking a risk George posting about religious stuff.

Probably belongs in general social chat though.
I hope the toaster thing was a put-on. His voice sounded like Eli Wallach?

Very entertaining, I must say! 2 to 3 pounds a week, my goodness, that woman needs some fiber!

I find it hilarious when people find Jesus, Mary or God (or whatever religious figure you prefer) in food or strange places. Sorry, I'm not convinced. Does anyone ever find "Allah" or "Yahweh" in strange places? I've never heard a report, not that that means it doesn't happen.

And that is a lot of crackers! Is she going to carefully inspect each one she eats from now on, making sure it's not a "holy" cracker?

Sounds like she spends a lot of time eating Goldfish crackers

MELBOURNE, Fla. - A Brevard County woman found more than she expected while eating a bag of Goldfish crackers, according to Local 6 News partner Florida Today.
Patti Burke eats two or three pounds of Goldfish crackers in a week, one by one, looking for the saltiest of the snacks. But only once has she found a sign from God on a little orange cracker.
