Sheesh, I've never had so many things go wrong!

Flew out Tuesday and things just started out bad. My flight out was canceled, so I was put on a flight 4 hours later. That flight was delayed for 2 hours because of a mechanical problem. Ugh, and I had to fly into Denver, where it was 10F and gusting wind and buried in snow! So my connecting flight had been canceled (not that I could have made anyway with the mechanical delay.) Got to spend the night in Denver for free, but that was so irritating. I was waiting for the hotel's shuttle for half an hour on the west side before they called me and said they were only picking up people on the east side. When I got over there I had just missed it so I had wait 45 minutes for it come back! Didn't get to the hotel until after 11.30pm, and because my new flight was at 6:30am and all the snow I had to take the 4am shuttle back to the airport. Yeah, no sleep at all. Finally got to my destination airport Wednesday morning, got the rental car and went to a hotel, since I couldn't get to where I needed because the interstate had been closed. Thursday was a little better since the interstate was open so I could drive. Got a bit of a scare though when I checked out of the hotel, went outside and found a tree branch had fallen on the car! I thought the side mirror had been broken but it was just folded. The hood had enough snow on it so it wasn't damaged. But at least that evening I was able to go to the job interview I had flown out for. At least that went well, took about an hour and a half and I signed the release paperwork for them so they check my stuff, should hear soon I hope. Friday I drove back to the airport and got there 4 hours before the flight... which got delayed an hour from the weather were it was coming from. And of course, I had to go through Denver again, where I had 5 minutes to run from gate 61 to 90 or else miss the last flight home for the day. Baaaarely made it.

Glad that's over.

Today I did all the surveys the booking places sent me. Took me a bit of time. Also registered a complaint about one of the hotels. Ooooh that place made me sooo mad! They didn't keep my reservation! I reserved a single non-smoking and had to stay in a double smoking! I don't think they like people reserving through booking sites because I found a number of reviews where the same thing happened.
