I cried so much when I read this, and I am posting it to show how intelligent animals are, and how vile we humans are to them. Obviously, not all of us are like this, but there's just so much cruelty. I'm just feeling sad.

Please don't say "we humans"... I'd never do such things to an animal. You wouldn't, either. Humanity isn't just a big lump of the same thing, we're all different. A few rotten eggs couldn't possibly spoil the whole tree... At least that's what gets me through the day when I read stories like this one

Thanks for reminding me of that, big zero. I'm not part of that "we," either. There are those who are trying to help. Sometimes it's hard to know what is the right thing to do, but sometimes it's not.

What makes some people so cold as to not care about an animal's suffering? I will never understand, and I don't want to.

who ever knew about this place should be lokcked in a tiny cage till the end of their life! no animal should endure such cruelty for the sake of medcine...have these people never heard of paracetamol..it's ten a penny and does the same job as bear bile and more!

I'm no expert about medical science, but I've read they have better ways to test drugs and in some cases can use computers, but they still test on animals unnecessarily. And if there aren't good alternatives, well, invent some!
