This is a blantant request for hugs.

I'm physically not feeling well and don't know what's going on. Wednesday I had to go to the endodontist to have him replace one of the spacer screws in an implant he did. Man, he cranked the new one down! That night my jaw hurt so badly I couldn't sleep very well. I spent the night with an ice pack on my jaw. Called his office the next day and they told me to come in so he could check it. He seems to think ther'e bruising from him cranking in the new screw.

Bottom line is I just don't feel well. Maybe this has triggered my fibro and/or chronic fatigue. I feel weak all over. All I want to do is sleep. I get the shakes all over. My dang jaw still hurts. Dentist said that will fade with time. I'm pale (maybe from pain?)

Enuf whingeing. Can I have some hugs please???

I'm wondering if they have actually broken your jaw, apparently the jaw can get broken very easily. Did they X-ray your jaw? You might be in shock. Pain can make you feel awful, I know.

((( hugs please? )))

Hang in there, dear lizard, even though I don't know you. (I like reptiles and amphibians, and clearly you are one!) Dental pain - omg. I understand being pale with pain! Get it double checked, if you need to, as pegasus suggests. Dentists are not gods; they just think they are sometimes.

You have a lot going on and your body is screaming for some nurturing. (((HUGS))) Here are some big and gentle HUGS for you.

I suggest you be very kind to yourself, just sleep when you need too and not fight it. I find sleep helps me heal.

Lizardlady, why are you shaking? Do you have chills? Do you have a fever? Please check on this. If so, you need to take something to bring a fever down (don't want to see you left untreated if you have an infection). Don't wait to long to see another doctor. Take care of yourself.

((((((HUGS))))))) GET WELL SOON!

Thanks for the hus everyone. Please keep 'em coming.

Thanks also for concerns about the symptoms I'm having. I did some reading to refresh my memory. The shakiness, tiredness, etc are probably all results of fibro/CFS. Any kind of injury/trauma to the body triggers all sorts of symptoms of both disorders. This too shall pass. I just wish it would hurry up and move on...

Poor Baby! I'm so sorry you hurt Have you tried alternating ice then heat? Sometimes that distracts you from the pain for awhile. and sleep. I'll pray for you too...

Thanks for the hugs and kind thoughts folks! I really think the trip to the dentist last week triggered a CFS/fibro flare. Things have finally settled down again.

I have another dentist appointment this Wednesday. I hope it doesn't trigger another flare!

Hope that you're feeling okay and that your dental appointment today didn't trigger another flare-up of CFS/fibro. Gentle hugs to you....
