I just got the last of my grades for the term. It was better than I expected, and somehow I made the honour roll again. (Just to be clear, that doesn't mean I got 4.0 for the term, but >3.5. My school has two tiers of honour roll, and I have no idea how it works at other schools. I never thought about the honour roll until it appeared on my transcript one term a while back.)

So, when I was slogging through exams, I appreciated the encouragement. Gave me brief smiles at the time. I've had a rough term with being very sick for a couple of weeks, including during field work, and having this scary injury to my foot. I was useless from the pain for at least 2 weeks, and probably more. I did worst not in the hardest course, but in the mickey mouse one taught with no depth by someone whose English is embarrassing and incomprehensible.

In sum, thanks, everyone! I guess those won't be my last exams ever, and I will continue on with the course I planned to take in the summer.
