I don't know. Old movies interested me (and still do) because there was more intimacy and content in the dialogue and more realism I thought. Something like "On the Waterfront" or "One Flew over Cuckoo's Nest" reflect life and real people much more than movies since 1975 or so I feel. Also Woody Allen movies because they were very psychological, metaphysical, intimate, dynamic, etc. Also Pink Panther, Mad Mad World, Jerry Lewis because I like comedy. And I like actors that are believable on film like John Candy, Jack Nicholson, Gene Hackman, George C Scott, Dustin Hoffman, Meryl Streep, etc.

Terminator 2 - I would pretend that I was a terminator and I would do things like I was a robot (ignoring pain, trying to look effortless when moving heavy objects, etc)

Star Trek - I wanted to be a Vulcan and display no emotion. Or like an android and again, no emotion, super strength, etc. The Android in Star Trek (Data) appealed to me because I thought that I could socialise like him. It turned out I couldn't.

Mad Love, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, Stargate, the Star Trek movies, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Willow, The Princess Bride, Legend. There's probably a million more but I'll leave it at that.
