I always thought mothers day was purely an English thing, i did not realise till recently that other areas of the world celebrate this too let alone on a different date. please help me sort this out in my mind by saying where in the world you are and the date when you celebrate mothers day.

England - around the 12th of March (not sure of the exact date as i do not celebrate this, but it always is on a Sunday)
