hey,
i quit smoking cigerets April 8th at 8:00 PM and i started my bodybuilding routine at gym again, the same date as i quit smoking. im trying to get 100 workouts in im 24 in , 76 more to go. i feel 100% better not smoking and im getting way better muscle pumps cuase i have more oxygen and blood flow from not smoking. thanks for reading |

buttercup - it gets easier as time goes.
it helps to have something to replace it with like exersice. or any hobby really thanks everyone! |

Well done! Keep it up - I quit on 20 January and am glad I did.
I found mobile phone games helpful for occupying my hands. |

Congrats ET, Buttercup, tinyrabbit! I have been smoke-free for five and a half years and so grateful for it too. After I sobered up there wasn't much of a point in continuing smoking anymore, but it was sure hard to let it go.

So good to read about folks getting away from smoking. I also quit early this year and was able to step down off nicotine in 8 weeks using the patch. I have felt better than I did during the whole 12 1/2 years that I smoked. Good riddance!
