Feeling old and yucky and I need to do something to pick me back up. I have the worlds most frizzy, curly, thick hair which I'm sure some people might like but I'm totally sick of it. Remember the gollywogs (not politically correct) that used to be on the jam jars, well, that's my hair. Any way, I'm not a girly girl and usually couldn't give two hoots about my hair (I'm going very grey, very quickly and growing old disgracefully!) but I really need to straighten things out!

So, has anyone else had this done? Did it work? Were you disappointed in it or was it great?

I haven't had it done. But I wish you luck, whatever you decide. Sometimes a change like that can really help give a boost, which is sometimes all we need.

I always figured it wasn't worth it as it costs a lot and grows out. Have you tried doing it yourself with straightening irons?
Thanks for this!

Yes I've tried straightening irons but my hair is so frizzy it didn't do a thing!
