My special seven-year-old relative is coming to visit. I want to teach her all the verses to "Found a Peanut."
Thanks for this!

outside scraping/painting...and battling a mood which decided I needed harassment these last coupla days. $#$%! prike. I shall not soon volunteer my efforts so easily. Taken for granted isn't a good feeling. Satisfying like a rusty spike in the forehead. At least the activity itself has a Zen quality for me. Some relief perhaps.

I never plan anything. Today I went to buy milk and found some beautiful geraniums. Tomorrow I plan to be huddling in the root cellar but maybe it won't be as bad as they're forecasting.

Today I have been working all day, and now am hosting a momentarily empty chat. Tonight we have friends coming over to enjoy grilling, drinkies, and the fire pit with us. Tomorrow is more working, finishing a lesson plan for my volunteer work, and hopefully spending some quality time with my kids. Oh- and my honey and I are planning to watch a movie in the evening.

I don't really know.. Once school is over, I'm gonna go look for a job around town. I will never, ever work at a fast food joint. Eh, I might go to the gym, I need to lose some weight.

Friday night: date with my darlin'. Going to watch Star Trek: Into Darkness and then out for dinner afterward, probably Greek food.

Saturday: farmer's market, meeting, going to get some more seeds for the garden. Then having a dear friend over for dinner to surprise her with a piece of art I've made for her for completing her undergrad degree in social work.

Sunday: spending all day at the community garden - development day and potluck - and then just chillin' when I get home.

Hope y'all have a good one.

Nothing really. My SO has to work late tonight and tomorrow. I need to wash my hair and do laundry. Hopefully I hear good news about this apartment I am trying to get.
