What to do when bored?

Not sure, about unique ways of having fun, but when I am bored, I tend to write, read, cook, listen to music, even come here, take a drive...

when you're bored, you should go out to a gym and do some exercises.

On my free time, i read manga all the time. I don't get bored from from doing it.

I've been extremely bored all weekend. I did all my laundry and cleaning yesterday and had nothing to do today. So I've laid in bed most of the day just reading stuff on these forums and posting helpful information for folks. This has really helped my boredom.

go on chat, garden, knit, study stuff like how to become a dr, tidy up, plan stuff to do with friends, bake, go to mass (its interesting to see wat others believe and its on everyday) watch tv

i play skyrim..

I go on walks if I'm motivated, I do housework and get on the computer for a couple of hours. I read My husband tells me that I sit home and feel sorry for myself, which infuriates me. I try ed the shopping at the mall now because of my impulsiveness when I get stressed I have a bill that I have to pay off and it sure adds up when a person is in a manic mood(bad habit to have for me) I'm freaked out about it now as I make payments now with no room to save. I learned

I call friends , family, my therapist or play free flow on my phone.

Read. Write a book.

I wish I had an answer to that. I am bored too! And everything I had interest in I can't get the motivation to do, I have been so down and so unmotivated. If I ever do get motivated, I like to go to the library, read books, listen to live music, and if I'm supermotivated then I might go to the gym at my apartment. But I'm not even remotely motivated to do anything.

I normally do online jisaw puzzles, or read the paper, come on PC, or go out for a walk.

I'm only bored when I watch TV. I'm surprised no one mentioned art, theres all kinds of art, collages, found art, finger painting, crayons, you don't have to be a Picasso or Michelangelo and draw, paint or sculpt. There's embroidery too. Weaving, you get into a state of calm relaxation from weaving that is like no other state.

Put some music on and dance.

There's tons of craft stuff you can get in the stores too, just go to the toy section and pick out a kit to get a taste of something you've never tried before. If you like it you can invest more in it.

Writing too is great, just free flow, rhyme or do a haiku. Write a play using your favorite characters. There are also games on the computer as well as puzzles.

Pets will never bore anyone, well maybe if it is a snail it might be a bit slow?

If you want some cheap entertainment go outside and watch the leaves look how they change when the sun hits them, at different times of the day. Are they moist, dry, sharp, soft??? Do it with bugs, ants are fascinating. Look for different birds, rocks, the pavement what is it made of? Look at your eyes, shine a flashlight into the mirror and watch your pupils shrink.

At the very least dare to daydream, have a conversation with a famous person in your head. Theres meditation too! It's harder than you think to not think. Zen.

I just got done writing a 159 page script. I drew 50 drawings in the last week. Believe me, I'm into art.

Try going to the park and people watch. Maybe buy a used wallet from a thrift store and place it in plain sight. Watch for people to pick it up, look through it and read your note : "I'm Watching You!!".

I spend time mowing my fields & working in the garden & hopefully when I get my horse here, I will spend extra time with her......that to me is all fun.....working on fixing up the house is fun too.....it's all in what your interests are...to fill your day with.
