Sounds like a funny topic but have you ever thought of how powerful a word is? Not only something someone says to you but just the feeling you get when you hear, write or see a certain word.

There are a few reasons why I've mentioned this and I'll start with the first and most obvious. As a child or for that matter, even an adult, someone can say something like the word STUPID and the impact it has on the receiving party can be devastating. For me, the word STUPID was used more in conversations than the word LOVE. Wow, words can be very powerful wouldn't you say?

As an adult, I often look for words that warm my heart when I'm feeling a little down and out. My favorite words are the following:

PROMISE
BELIEVE
HOPE
FAITH

Do you have certain words that bring comfort to you?
Thanks for this!

I appreciate the sentiment and understand the devastation that can be caused by certain words. I am not trying to be caddy, but the word "FOOD" warms my heart, especially with having gone without in the past and not knowing where the next meal was coming from; I always appreciate what this word conjures. The other one is hopeful, calming, and soothing, simply "PEACE".

On the other side, the very strong word "HATE" is one I would prefer that it and its sentiment not be around.

I love the word, "smile". I can't say it without smiling.
Thanks for this!

The words LOVE and SPECIAL always warm my heart. Especially when someone describes me using those words.

The words RESPECT, HONESTY, and HAPPINESS mean a lot to me. Those are the words I seek out most at this stage in life. In this city, the words SUNNY and WARM would make me smile
