If i had been as popular as the other kids, I would have been treated right.I would be well-liked and nobody would mock me because of my inability to play basketball and my lack of talent. I have talents that i would want to develop but others are preventing me from pursuing them. I will not let others stand in the way and if they don't give me what I want, I will push them out.

Are you still in high school? High school can be a brutal place to find people to be friends with. Do you have anyone at all?

The quotes in post above are good advice. You CAN build on your strengths. Take time to get to know and love yourself. Let willingness to connect to others develop within you.

High school can be a brutal place for people. People are still trying to find themselves and sometimes they may be hanging out with the wrong crowd. I'm glad I have been isolated from those people because I realize that they're not good for me. One size does not fit all. I used to be envious of other people who have a lot in common with me and just happen to get along well with the people that I don't. I ask myself,"Why don't I get along with them? After all, we have the same personalities and everything..why am i excluded?" Well maybe I shouldn't try to compare myself with others.
