I doubt anyone here has used it for their page/website, but I'm curious, none-the-less. I'm currently using 3 adverts for a computer hardware/software page of mine that I've had for over a year, but only recently taken seriously. I'm getting some use out of it, but it does seem like an awful lot of money for little gain. It's so hard to get people's attention, these days - with so many companies and organisations all fighting against each other for the attention of valued people.
Anywho, does anyone use it for their stuff? Any success? Do you spend a lot or very little?

Most of the facebook ads I used to see when I was still on fb were annoying as hell. The only types I ever saw were ads for weight loss, dating, and clothing sites, and the odd one for a rehab center. So...*shrug*

I've only set up a community page, on FB, before, but there was no need for advertising. On a personal, level, very rarely, do I click on the ads.
Do you also, use a website, ontop of Fb? Have you set up your SEO settings? There is something out there called Gorilla marketing, and for the community website that I manage, I don't find the cost to be worth what my community needs the website for. I can manually set my meta codes, without paying an arm and a leg. It's not for profit, as it is. Hope you find some others, here, who may have more experience with advertising. |
