Does anyone here use tarot ever? I signed up for an online horoscope, not that I really believe in it, but I often find something useful to think about. The same site has tarot readings so I've been trying them out. Again I'm not sure I believe in it, but I find that it pulls out things that are useful or interesting.

So I got a deck to play with. I would to talk to people about readings and such. I could even offer to do simple readings if people are interested.

I find that like many things, the power of symbols works to get at things that don't come up in our everyday practical minds.

It's also game like and so playful.

I read Tarot. I've been doing so for about 3 1/2 years, and I love it. I find it a great spiritual and psychological tool and I enjoy reading for other people as well (most of the time). Feel free to read for me anytime you like.

How delightful to find your message! I got my first tarot pack the day before yesterday - the Miniature Rider deck (1 3/4" x 3"). Somehow I avoided tarot all these years, although I did have a long spell with runes. I'm fascinated with tarot now. I think I was afraid of it; something told me "not yet." But the way seems clear now.

So I did my first reading (Celtic) for me, and I was very impressed. Then I did a reading for my nephew, and he thinks it's vague enough to apply to anybody - but it applied so specifically to him! Anyway I told him to go meet a tall dark stranger.

I think I'm very intuitive but I can't imagine reading for a stranger. Can you read for me?

Okay, I'll give it a shot. But remember - I've only been doing this for 3 days.

Your issue is conformity. You are trying to fit in with the crowd. But you are building on sand - your foundation is not solid. The best you can shoot for is action and creativity (possibly including femininity). Unfortunately, all of the resources you have to draw on have met with bad luck. You met with defeat; obstacles overcame you. You may have failed a test or lost a love. Be wary of carelessness and trouble from ignoring foolishness. For the future, you will need guidance - you tend to be overly cautious and unwise. What will come is a turning point, change, transformation.

Comments, please? Don't be shy, I'm new at this.

I used to do tarot, but my husband threw out my deck. Maybe I'll get a new deck one of these days.

Tarot is fun.

I always wanted to get a reading from that scary voodoo lady though. You know, the one that has the white, scraggly hair and only one tooth that keeps yelling, "You goin' die!"
Thanks for this!

I don't use Tarot I use Psycards I find them easier to use and kinder to the person I'm doing the reading for.

I got a tarot deck a few years ago when I was going through a period of, "I want to be a wiccan!" when I was 16. I've done a few self-readings with them about a year ago, one was a 5 card daily spread which was scarily accurate. The other was a complex 15 card "How will this situation play out?" sort of spread that I couldn't really figure out what it meant.
