I like to take out days like the Solstice and make it like a turning point. Take stock of what I've been doing and see if there are some changes I want to make. It's sorta like having New Year's more than once. That's why I like it.

I'm deciding to a health kick. I've been wanting to and done some prep for it. Have supplements and decent food around. It would be nice to feel really good inside and out.

So I started a new journal that has several areas that are different colors, each for a specific goal. This is how I stay motivated and in touch with the progress.
Thanks for this!

That's a good way to look at Solstice, archipelago. It really is a turning point of sorts. My turning point today is to start tangibly celebrating holidays in my household, starting with Solstice. We are going to do some cleaning today and have a feast tonight with music, then head out for a Solstice gathering at the seaside.
