I often wonder? If you or i ever clean your toilet plunger? Or do you just figure it's already clean cause you plunge in the toilet? The next time you use the plunger you see what it really looks like. Crap don't tell me sweet little lies now.

Avoice, I never have to use it on the toilet. I only have to use it in the shower when the drain gets blocked. But no, I don't clean it.
Thanks for this!

LOL......I got one of those huge plungers that are like an accordian you push down on & the water does down the drain......& the first time I used it......making sure it was clean after I used it was my first thought......what I actually do is flush the toilet several times after I get it cleared.......& at that time I stick the plunger down into the clean water & use that clean water to wash it out for several flushings until I feel the plunger is clean......this isn't one of those little hat looking plungers.....so for me to get the inside clean....is definitely important.....yick.....can't imagine sticking a dirty plunger into the holder I have for it.....I don't let it just drip onto the floor either.

Oh yes.....I have thought the same thought as you. I hate my master bathroom toliet because you can't even use it much before it gets clogged.....& having a septic tank rather than normal city pluming on my farm.....makes me even more sensitive to the problems I deal with.

I always thought that the light duty plungers were so much easier to keep clean.....unfortunately, my home requires that heavy duty one & it's a lot more difficult to make sure it's clean because it's the kind that has the huge center where it fills with air to shove into the toilet.....but that huge center also is what gets so really gunky. I don't have a problem most of the year because I can take it outside immediately & wash it off with the hose & clean it after that...but during the winter....the job of cleaning it is much more difficult having to do it all inside.....yeech. There are definitely a lot of gross jobs around the house & when one is living alone like I do.....there is no one to pass them off to like I used to do.

hmmm..last time I hadda plunge the toilet; I had flushed a pot roast down it I'd made this great pot roast for me for my birthday? It was really well made, mushrooms, onions, carrots, potatoes with a fantastic gravy that cooked a tough piece of top round for all day.

And there was something (plastic??? ICK!) in the first mouthful...when I finally sat down to enjoy this fine feast I had prepared for myself? I wanted to barf..something foreign in my food? No, I will not eat it.

So......I figured I'd flush it down the toilet.

I spent 7 hours on a Sunday, on my Birthday! bailing and plunging, and flushing that toilet

I did not give up...hours and hours of it....
I will always remember that birthday! Hey! I was the champ of the toilet! I WON! Yeehaw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

--course, I often wonder.......

It would follow then that these people who are "Everyone" KNOW TOO???

Wouldn't it? Just trying to figure things out to their logical conclusion.........wait....

Oh my dryer had it bad.....it ate one of my dryer balls, those things with the spikes on it that tumble around in the dryer to help dry cloths. It was almost a year before I finally found it.....stuck in the sleeve of one of my sweat shirts that I put away for the warmer weather.

My dryer took the blame for almost a year.....it was brand new & one of those front loading dryers.....I hadn't had enough time to learn to trust it by that time.

I just figure they take a long vacation & end up getting lost.....sometimes they find their way home though.....& that's nice.

I don't mind too much about things that stay outside. Dig in the dirt a few times with the shovel & the dirt will scrape off any of the doggie doo that remained & it will leave it's own dirt behind which I squirt off with the hose. Outside stuff is so much easier to deal with....& if nothing else works, get the pressure washer out for the tough jobs

I wonder why I don't learn things the first time....They moved the tall chest I had sitting in my kitchen when after a month they finally came to take my refrigerator to fix it.....I just left it sitting there because I needed to get around to cleaning the floor under it & also, they still need it moved when they bring back my fixed refrig. Sooooooo........

Saturday, I leaned over to pick something up, turned around & whacked my face with the corner of the chest.....put my hand up to feel & it was covered with blood. Couldn't get the little cut to stop bleeding....now I have a sore about the size of a dime & was late anyway trying to meet my friends to enjoy an afternoon movie.

Well........Sunday morning, I was paying attention to JoGI, my kitchen eskie....turned around & Whack.....right at the cornor of my same eye I managed to nail the previous day. You would have thought I would have learned from the previous day. I felt the cornor of my eye & it started to swell & turn black & blue.....ended up getting an ice cube out if the loaner refrig I have sitting in my garage & iced it down to try & keep myself from actually having a huge black eye & having to explain how lame I have been to everyone at church......which again I was late for while trying to ice the black eye down.

It's lightly black & blue.....& I took the little bandage off the cut right below my eye to let the air get to it....needless to day...DBT group questioned what happened.......I have been such a clutz lately, I am almost afraid to get out of bed......but then......who knows at the rate I'm going....could end up falling out of bed too.....wonder why I go through clutzy periods & then other times can be so graceful like when I'm enjoying ballroom dancing

I often wonder of late if anyone here is aware that the "Thank" "Hug" buttons feature was not in existence on this site until 2011?

And, I wonder if they realize that it appears to do more harm than good, as evidenced in a recent thread???????

why when the feature was introduced, I did not say anything about the ramifications such a feature might present on a site where many have difficulties with self worth: this is a Mental Health Community...many here are easily injured?

i often wonder if what i'm hearing is truly me.
a girl told me once htat she wonders if i'll ever get married.
i hear music that just keeps playing in my head and I wonder if i'm just imagining it or choose to imagine it? if someone on this site were to write turn the tables, i would all of sudden just be like i can't keep up with your turning tables...by adele. that's super strange.

I Often Wonder if others here are unaware that I "Thank"& "Hug" the way we did prior to the instatement of the "Thank"& "Hug" Button?

I Often Wonder at how much time I, and many of my friends spend private messaging "Thanks & "Hugs" Kudos, pictures, replies to threads to friends and others; and why on earth anyone would think that many here do not prefer to reply privately, as it is far more gratifying to those receiving said...because it is not PUBLIC, it is anonymous, it is from the heart.

I often wonder why people feel the need to gloat.
One time some guy picked on me and he thought it was fun.
