I'd like to hear more about the tech details. It looks incredibly expensive to build and it doesn't appear to be geared to use by the average traveler.

I've got serious doubts about this either way. Logistical nightmare if it's planned for the masses. Where are the stop and start points? Where will the lines be? Will rights of way be bought or will the government step in and use eminent domain or condemnation proceedings to take people's land for rights of way. I can see this being useful for a very small segment of the population. The cost of the transit centers, rights of way, and easements would be so big and the technology and construction prices so high that ticket prices would be out of range for most of us.
Still it's interesting. Better than building a fossil fuel pipeline ![]() |
