Whew it's been in the nineties all week and I do not have air conditioning..been hanging out in the library..I noticed a sign that said, library will be open till 9 to observe our city's COOL DOWN COOL SWEEP!! I googled it, here at the library computer...turns out there is extra hours at 7 spray parks and 5 fire hydrants are spraying, too, as a response to the extreme temperatures (for our area..)
That spray park was refreshing!!!

That sounds amazing! What a great idea
 Don't forget you can put a bowl of ice in front of your fan, the evaporation works like a swamp cooler ...

My girls and I went to a water park today because we're under severe heat advisories as well. Thank goodness for parks with pools!! It cost $10, but it was worth it. Another severe heat day Thursday, we'll be going to the YMCA this time.
I hope that we get a good storm to ease these temp's soon ~ hugs to everyone overheating
