I have a denim jacket with patches and studs on it. Should I keep the sleeves or make it a vest??

Thought I'd ask you guys (:

I was considering cutting off my arms instead.

Velcro isn't going to work there I like the sleeves so if you just want a straight opinion I'm going with sleeves. But then a long sleeved T or a turtleneck pullover would be could with a vest.

Nevertheless, I'm putting my vote in, too, for sleeves.

I personally vote for keeping the sleeves on.

Depending on where you live, jackets can be more functional as the weather changes and I personally love the look of them over vests. It can be hard to find a sharp jacket. Vests can be worn in more seasons though. When do you see yourself wearing it throughout the year or do you not wear this jacket as a jacket very often now? If not often, perhaps changing it to a vest would allow you to wear a favorite item more often; or just save it for cooler weather as a jacket, cherish it as is then.
