Have you all heard about this survey that was done recently, asking people if they'd like to live to 120, and most say NO? I would totally want to live that long, as long as I could be healthy, and preferably youthful for a longer period of time, aging slower. What about you?

Live to 120? No thanks, many say in new survey

I don't think I would want to live that long either. Maybe if it was living in better financial status, I might enjoy it more. However, if my life just meant living more years struggling to make ends meet and working minimum wage with the physical demands like I have now....no thanks. My body is already breaking down.

Mine, too, but if I could live longer, with the ability to start over knowing all I know now, and enjoying a long youthful period, and being healthy, I'd love to live longer. I still have hope, even though I admit a lot of it is finally dwindling, sadly.

Count me as a "no" vote. The idea of living that long while continuing to struggle with fibro is scary. Not to mention I would have to keep working well into my 80s or I'd run out of money long before I died. I'm counting the days until I can retire at 65. I have absolutely no interest in having to continue working passed that age.

No way... Life is already beyond mentally trying/exhausting in my 30s. And I know its going to sound vain, but I don't even want to know what I would look like at 120, because the stress of my life would definitely have a huge impact at that point.

I would have to be a no vote also. Not the way my life is going now, there is no way I would want to keep this madness going that long!

I would want to live as long as my body is capable of living without altering it chemically or surgically. I believe in taking care of myself and my health so that my body will function optimally and I will be comfortable and energetic but I think people take the whole pursuit of youth thing too far. Also it would be difficult watching all the people I love die before me...

If I could have my health restored to when I was 30, then, yes, I'd like to live to be 120!

120? Sure, gives me more time. But considering my family medical history I'll be lucky to make it past 60.

Nope, not me. Unless I was healthy enough that I *can* work until I'm 90.
