Make thier own jewelry, belts stuff like that ? Kinda like hemp or something? I'm looking to get into doing it....

I do! I started making bead bracelets, and it evolved and took over! Now the craze seems to be using camping cord and making a survival bracelet.
It's a very meditative hobby - repetitive, you don't have to watch your hands, and you accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. It's cheap to start, and most libraries have some cool 1970's era craft books to get you started. Have fun!
