Why is it that when it rains most people act as if the sky has opened and they are being drenched with scalding water or they become depressed and start complaining. I think the rain and thunder are awsome especially when it's windy. It seems to relax everything. I don't think I would want it evert day though.
Thanks for this!

Personally my body swells and i get really tired many times when it rains, so sometimes it can be painful. But other than that I love the deep sleep I get on a rainy afternoon.

I think people are wired differently. I love rain and storms myself. I always spend my holidays somewhere North; the idea of the Mediterranean sun doesn't appeal to me at all.

I think it is true, people are wired differently. I love a good storm and pounding rain outside. I love to listen to it. It is extreme calming. I don't think I could deal with it every day either. But the coolness and the sound of the thunder is so exciting.

I think so, too. I love the smell of rain, and I find the whole thing both cool, purdy, and relaxing. On the other hand, it can be depressing because it can prevent people from doing certain things, so it can mean you're stuck indoors. Also, if you do have to go out, it means you get drenched and end up cold; this ain't nice until you're having a shower or a bath. Also, I think there's some sort of type of depression in which some people get depressed based on the weather.

I hate the rain on days I have to go some where. I don't drive (too anxious) so I have to walk to my classes and I have to walk to work. I really hate to be wet and cold so I get all sorts of angry. If I'm just staying in the sound of rain is very relaxing

I think it's just because when it rains, it's dark and grey outside. For me, I like the rain unless I'm in it. If I'm in it I just end up getting cold and I hate being cold.

It's a low barometric pressure system. My grandparents used to run a farm. Leanred much about how barometric pressure not just affects humans, but animals, as well.

That said, I do find pleasure from a good thunderstorm.

Yup, that.

Weather affects mammals more than we'd first assume. I know I love the rain, but it gives me pain (joints, etc) so I am both happy and sad when it rains.

A love hate relationship with the water cycle.

I adore thunderstorms! It sounds relaxing, the lighting looks beautiful, and it's always a perfect temperature with some wind
