I did! I really really did!
And I'm happy just because I did - and not because of what they'll be having me do. I don't even care how much I'll be paid, because it will still mean that I'm more financially independent! I'm working at my local Zellers and I start training next week. Even if this job doesn't work out, YAY I did it! I can give a good interview, I have experience and they liked me! (The best kind of self-esteem booster out there)

Just thought I'd update everyone.
Today was orientation. Basically meaning 2 hours of paperwork and listening and getting my uniform and ID/tag. First shift is on Sunday, wish me luck!

It went well enough. Was trained by the other person who does the same job for the 4 hours. Quite long, but I think I learned a lot. My second shift actually starts in an hour and a half, so I have to leave RIGHT NOW to get to work on time - and then I'll be back in about 5-6 hours to do the rest of my "post surfing" and posting. And to do a better update! (lol)
