We went fishing the other evening, it was brilliant (outfished Martin - teehee).

We started out on the beach but the sea weed and wind was pretty hectic so we moved to the 'arm' and had a bit of shelter from the wind.

It was so amazing to sit under a clear sky and watch the stars coming out and chatting to each other about things silly and not so silly and feel the sea air blowing the cob webs out........ sea fishing is awesome!! Would love to go on a boat...........

I caught whiting, which we brought home and eat!! The taste of the fish so fresh was excellent.

I'm glad you enjoyed the out of doors. There are proven positive changes to our moods and personalities when we spend time out of doors like you did! ((hugs))

Oh wow sea fishing... Sounds like you had a great time.. and yes yummmm to the fresh fish....

I have never sea fished, but I have taken my sons fishing many times when they were younger..

I took my son when he was in grade school trout fishing. It was several months after I separated from his dad and he wanted a day just for him.. So we went to the country. We had a blast. The water was so clear we could see the trout laying on the bottom, but the trout never bit the hook. After several hours of trying to convince these trout we had good food and they still would not bite, so we tossed corn in the water and watched the trout chow down.. We found a swinging bridge and my son laffed so hard watching me and my dog walk the bridge. We went rock hunting and then had dinner... although we didn't catch any fish we had a great day....

Another time I fell in the river trying to get my son's hook that got caught in stump on the river bank... I can't swim and I panicked.. although the water was only up to my chest.. .. my son thought that was funny.. not sure if i laffed with him or not. lol we didn't catch any fish...

Then one time we were in a shallow part looking for those lil crab like things for bait.. I was sitting on a rock and when I got up a snake crawled out from the rock.. almost peed my self that time.. lol.....

Looks like I fish as good as I bake...

Sounds wonderful with the stars an clean air. I love fried fish. When I was young my sister, dad and I were staying at our holiday lot. I got up early to fish and came back with a trout. I was so excited to get that guy in the pan with lots of butter. He cooked but he shrunk up so much there wasn't much left but I can still taste those bits we all shared. It was sooooo good.

Oh, MAN!!! I love to fish, and now you've got me wanting to go somewhere around here, even go buy a fishing license! Yeah, sea fishing is great, but I will have to settle for a river, lake or stream!

Year before last my BF who said he wasn't into camping suddenly decided we were going. He got his licence and away we went. Well It rained, and snowed and I froze. So I curled up in the tent with a book to wait it out and HE went fishing. Five minutes later he's back. I thought what the heck???? He had justleft. Well he got his hook caught and fell in trying to get it back. No fish dinner that trip.
