I need to know how to spell the word legitimate.

As in, this is a 'legitimate' thread.

Thanks.

I always insert words into Google search that I'm unsure how to spell. It almost always gives me the right spelling or suggests a few words that I might be thinking about if the spelling is way off! Try that next time!

Also you can put into google "define <insert word>" and it will give you a definition along with spell checking it.

Googling certainly helps me when I'm unsure of how to spell whatever word properly. My poor dictionary sits...feeling lonely, I am sure.

Kid1: Grandma, spell 'chocolate'.
Grandma: c-h-o-c-o-l-a-t-e.
Kid2: Grandma, you forgot the 'f'!
Grandma: I told you kids before, there's no 'f' in 'chocolate'!

It's hard to spell when you're drunk, dyslexic, illiterate, and have a serious case of hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia.

There's this guy in my hometown - first name Hugh - who used to order pizza from my mom's restaurant all the time and whenever my brother was the one taking the order he'd spell his name 'Hue'. I loved it. My dad always got so mad, thought it was unprofessional. I thought it was adorable.

@Poppy

Don't be mean. There's a thread here dedicated to people writing "aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh" aimlessly and if you knew the nature of IT then you'd get it. He's an interesting character that changes up the forums.

@Yoda, where'd you get the swinging emoticon? It's cute.

Yep, his name was Hugh.

IT, when I don't know how to spell a word, I just think of synonyms, as in "real," "true," "not fake," "not trying to be funny," "serious," etc.

I am hoping you do plan to use such words when you post--or at least put an icon that indicates humor. I'm all for fun, but ......
(Just personal comments)

And I assume there was intended irony in this post. I actually think it's sort of clever.
