ive only had waffles a few times and never from a proper waffle iron .. just the weird cardboard tasting ones from the supermarket
 so had to go with pancakes

If I eat 3 or 4 pancakes I just get so sick of them by the end.
But I can eat endless amounts of waffles! So waffles win. |

Ah, my wonderful Belgium waffle maker with the deep squares that hold a lot of fruit /syrup & throw a little ground up pecans in the batter......& some pumpkin puree.....ok....I need to break out my waffle iron again. Everyone from my Bible study at church always wants my waffles on the nights when we have breakfast for dinner.....& yes, only REAL maple syrup will do in my world.....I don't have a lot of money to spend but put it on the good quality.

Oooh, especially Belgian waffles, which are my favorite, yum.
I do love both though with butter and warm syrup, makes for a great morning; if only there was time this morning. Darn it.
