I live in a place where it never snows. I've only been alive for one snow day where I live and that was nearly 12 years ago. Since global warming is upon us, it means there is more likely a chance for it to snow. Can some of you Colorado folks ship me some snow in Sunny California? That's my Christmas wish!

^_^

I am so praying for the opposite here, to no avail, but do remember living in southern CA for a few years when I was really little and one winter it actually snowed. Meanwhile I have already tuned-up the snow blower and the generator for the winter and if I could, I would send you some of ours; I'll try to blow some of it your way.

Do you want to swap places?
I hate snow so much. I dread the Winter season each year. The cold, the slippery ice, the snow, the dark mornings and early dark nights.
I'd love to live somewhere where it rarely ever snows.

Lol! When I was in college one of the young women I knew was from Brazil. She had never seen snow in her life. That year, like all years, it started snowing. She came running out on to the balcony at the college and dancing around. I asked her why she was so excited and she explained it was because it was so beautiful and she had never seen snow before.

I grinned, "Oh, you'll be sick of it pretty soon."

The next day the college was closed down due to 4-foot tall drifts in the driveways. It took them almost a week to clear enough snow that classes could resume again and it was still melting off a month later.

When I ran into her again I had to ask how she still liked the snow ...

"It sucks! How can you people live here!?"

Ah Kansas, land of extreme weather ...
Thanks for this!

Greetings from Colorado!!! No snow here in the foothills, but in the higher elevations there is! I won't send the blustery wind your way, but it's sure is sunny out today!
