Those of you who have seen some of my posts know my ongoing work issues, and some of my emotional problems, one of those is finally on the way to being fixed. A large part of my depression comes from the fact that my head is stopped up to varying degrees 100% of the time. I noticed that it happened to be more severe at work, and when it was cold outside, and by happy accident I had a thought the other day that, I always smelled the detergent really strongly when I layered up. And days where my head wasn't completely stopped up must be days when a different detergent was used. It'll be awhile before all my clothes are washed of the detergent, but already I breathe clearer, and feel happier. It also explains other... Anomalies as well. Anyone else allergic to detergent, and is there a specific chemical I should look out to avoid?

I have difficulties with several laundry detergents ~ my skin tends to break out in hives. For me, I've finally discovered that it must be either the fragrances and/or dyes used.
Regular Cheer, among many others is a big trigger for me. Yet, I've had NO problems with the Cheer Free. ![]() ![]()
