Some Brits were asked to ID US states with very amusing results:

It's Thanksgiving So We Asked Brits To Label The United States — We're So Sorry, America
Thanks for this!

Honestly, if I were asked to ID stuff in GB I'd have a hard time.

I really enjoyed the "Breaking Bad" references.

Pretty funny, I was surprised most got NC right,

When I was young as a joke, there used to be in New York city, maps of the US depicting only NYC, with a small corner for LA,.

Pretty funny, and sad, but honestly most American's would have a similarly hard time with a Canadian map.

I can actually name alot of the states but would really struggle to point to them on a blank map. At a guess I reckon i'd only get about 50% right
Which is better then I could do with our counties, but I don't ever recall being taught them, If i'm asked where somewhere is all I can answer is "Up North" because that's where nearly everywhere is!

I was quite entertained at the entries put in for Canada.

Considering that Alaska was positioned out of its normal location, I am not surprised some of them mistook it for Hawaii lol

I can name quite a lot of states in America but ask me to show you where it is on a map, I have no idea. But, you know, I can't tell you where most of the towns and counties are in England either and I've lived here all my life! Geography wasn't really that big of a deal at school - I think I took it for three years and we pretty much just learned about earthquakes and tectonic plates and volcano's and things.
