Well I moved that was major goal for 2013 but I didnt find a new/suitable job. Im really hoping I can get one soon. I will also be moving again as a new job may need to me too transport wise. Besides Im not liking it here much. Heres to those 2. Plus: I must be less friendly and open to people. Its not wise to be trusting, some folks use it against me.

I went on a research trip in February, had a major family vacation in August and have been taking a class since September that isn't over until June. My health is holding pretty steady, which is good (first year I haven't had a hospital ER visit for awhile) but I would still like to improve it rather than feel I was battling to hold it steady?

My New Year resolutions are the same as every year, & so far I've been quite successful. Why change what works, right?
1). To not set any unrealistic expectations upon myself & 2). To do the best I can by everyone, including self.

1. I know its a cliche' but losing more weight and not looking so troll-like is a priority

2. make at least 1 friend IRL

that's all so far, I am sure I will think of others.

I rarely make resolutions. I just try to survive the year, then when I do I feel happy.

I am launching a small business in January. I hope I can reach out of my comfort zone enough to be able to do it. I'll hopefully feel comfortable talking about it soon; don't know why but a bit paranoid about giving away my idea...it's kind of unique. Wish me luck...I have a lot riding on it!

Immediately at the beginning of 2013, my goal became to be able to walk normally again because of a back surgery and nothing else. I would say I have achieved that goal. Now, my goals for 2014 are to get back into college, and maybe back into some sort of physical activity. Also, to meet someone I have developed a special bond with over the internet.

When I look back on the last year, a lot of very good things have happened . I felt like my life was over around this time last year . I'm over dramatic at times, I admit. Things don't usually get magically better overnight so I'm working hard . I have a lot of goals for the new year. But I guess mainly I'm trying to make little changes to improve myself and my life instead of trying to change everything all at once .

For 2014 I plan to use my old 2013 resolution of eating healthier... maybe this time I can stick to it. I gained 50lbs last year..or this year rather.

I don't think I set any goals persay, but I find a new job that I am much happier at...and we moved into a better apartment with an amazing view. And we survived our first year of marriage. So overall, it was a good year.

My first is to pass maths. After failing four times, I just have to pass it this time. Numbers and calculations are so confusing. The only thing I understand is Pi. And that is 3.14 to two decimal places.

My second thing is to get a job and be a working member of society. I rely on my older brother way too much and I'm an adult. 2014, I will be a working citizen. Just you wait and see!

My resolutions for 2013 were to finish my associates and to be on time for occasions with presents/cards/gifts that am always late. These I accomplished. At the end of the year I added getting healthier; my lab values improved and lost some weight. I did not however do very well at getting back to work but did manage to get to my resume together and references, which are steps in the right direction.

My major resolutions for 2014 are to finish the bachelor's degree, and to get back to work even if only part time now with the situation with my Dad and once I graduate in the Spring. To continue getting healthier and to work on finding more balance, stress relief, and taking better care of myself. Also to start saving more and spending less; so I set up a budget and automatic draft today with goals to increase the draft when get I get back to work.

Funny thing, I thought I screwed up most of my goals for 2013, but when I sat with them in mid December I realized I actually had achieved those goals and more

In 2014, I need to grow professionally, find more work opportunities than I did in 2013 ... Kind of already got started on that goal this month. I also want to get into a second Master's Degree program which is only being offered now (it wasn't available back when I did my first M.A. but it sounds very professional and useful). I'll have to see if time and finances permit though. Probably not in 2014, but it can be my first goal for 2015!

Except for that ... on a personal level, allow myself to keep growing, enjoying life and my relationships. That's pretty much it.

1. To save up enough cash to get a small, reliable used car or truck by July.
2. To not get maimed or killed while riding my scooter in the meantime.
3. To work on how I respond when I find myself triggered.

For 2013, i just wanted to not croak from my stroke and not be cross-eyed anymore. To accomplish those "goals", all i had to do was WAIT.

For 2014, i want to "get my splits". I will never get there (without breaking a hip at this age!!), but i need something physical that i can keep working at and not stop and say, thats good enough there. Plus the google sites on how to get your splits are so positive and sunshiney and optimistic and can-do and fun, its a group you want to be a part of. If only in your mind.

Keep doing the best I can.

I'd like to say that I will stop being afraid and stressing or worrying about things but that's not realistic. I'd like to say that I will become a different person who is social and goes out but that would require a personality change. I'd like to say I will take more risks but not likely.

So keep doing the best I can with work.

One thing that I could do is wear make up more to look my age.

To do whatever it takes to keep myself mentally healthy, and start working on the physical aspect of it.
