I got my nose pierced for my birthday last week.
Here is a picture.

Anyone have any advice for nose piercings first timers? And anyone have any neat piercings?

Use very mild soap- liquid, with no dyes, fragrances, etc. Mix it with a bit of water and drop it over the piercing while twisting it a little bit. Wash your hands first, and I would recommend not using bactine- though that is often recommended. There are been problems at times with foreign growth in bactine bottles that can induce infection. Also- don't use rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide

Okaaaaay. Why?

Um, remove it when you get a cold?

Let me know if it gets infected like ear piercings.

just make sure not to put a ring it is.....would hate to see you led around like a bull.

Hated ear pearcing......kept getting infected & crusty at times....I still wear a pair of earings....but have found it really a nuisance at times.

Everyone has their own taste

Thanks all!
So far I haven't had any problems. At first it was hard blowing my nose, but I got used to it.

Congratulations! I've had my nostril pierced for many years. I'd like to get a second nostril piercing. When you can wear regular jewelry in your piercing, check out The Beaded Lily on etsy. She makes & sells some lovely nostril jewelry.
