Here's my bio that I've been using to introduce on new threads.

I'm a married almost 45 yr old woman, with teens, and I struggle daily with paranoid tendencies, low self esteem, BPD, anxiety, depression, ocd tendencies, and all that stuff we've heard before.

I'm here because I decided that after workign on my physical health I will work on my mental health and spirituality is ok at present.

So I am being reffered for CBT as well as DBT to help develop new coping skills.

Pdoc put me on
5mg abilify
40mg prozac
2gm max 2 per day PRN Clonazepam
30mg Temazepam at night to sleep with.

He had upped my abilify to 10 mig but the aggittation is intense and I can't do anything and then crash and nap for an hour or more.

So here to make friends, give and gain support, learn and share, grow and adapt. For myself, my family and my friends. But mostly me, as I don't have to live this way any more. 40+ years of this way of thinking is enough.

In the mean time I have 4 lovies, a yellow pied male peach faced, a female blue fishcher (bonded), two black masked lovies (bonded & successfully mated), 6 hermit crabs, did you know they make noise to communicate!!!, a tank of rescued guppies and endler crosses (if anyone is into genetics, lets chat) and four kitties, all rescues. 3 females 14, 6 and 5 and a 10 yr old boy.

I also have a husband and two teens at home to round out the zoo.

Hi! Welcome. I have a zoo too. I have two birds, two dogs and two hermit crabs, though for some reason one of my hermit crabs is outgrowing its shell and it refuses to change no matter how many different ones I put in. They're very active at night though.

I have two dogs and three hermit crabs. All my crabs have been under molting for the past four weeks. I miss them and feel silly feeding an empty tank of dirt every night! Lol
