Ever made a video of yourself talking, dancing, singing, or anything else? Post the link here, I'd love to see.

I actually make videos on a regular basis, talking about some serious things, and other times just acting like a complete fool.

Here's one of me
Thanks for this!

I made a video in the summer of me trying a cherry stem in a knot in my mouth. I only posted it on facebook and felt really silly, but I also thought it was hilarious that I can actually do that! And it looks utterly ridiculous!

Yes, I have videos of me playing the guitar. I shan't provide a link due to the nature of this website; it's private and I don't want to be publicly associated with this website.

You have a low post-count, and already you are inadvertently (or subtly) advertising what is most likely your YouTube channel, which is something most websites do not like; I'm telling you this because I used to run a website, and this sort of thing would set off alarm bells for me. What you can often do, is contact an administrator (or a mod, but I'd go with the former) and ask if it's OK to advertise something; sometimes, they are OK with it, and sometimes they aren't. One thing that might help you, is to make a Facebook fan-page for your channel, and pay for Facebook advertising, which is actually really good; I have used it for my page, and have been able to spend as little as £1 a day - there are over two-hundred million members on Facebook, so it can be great coverage. Good luck with the channel.

Yeah. I started vlogging about my life on my YouTube channel. It's random and in some of the videos I act like a fool because I have the attention span of a gnat, unless I'm playing a computer game or I'm making a stop motion animation. Yeah, my channel also has a few stop motion animations that I made on it. I'd get back into it. But I'm in a lull where I look at the stuff I enjoy, sigh and walk away. Anyway, here's a link to my latest vlog episode, but you can look through the others if that interests you.

Nah, but I often imagine myself making videos and stuff and wish I could. I was thinking of just doing video diaries so that I could eventually look on them when I'm older...I might, not sure yet. But I am really thinking about making ASL videos, for practice since I am self-teaching. Seeing myself and then trying to interpret them after might be helpful.

That's a good idea, helping you learn the signs much faster.

I'm taking ASL 2 in highschool, so I could probably do this too.

No - the internet has strict rules about things being too hideous to post online.

awww, thats asesome! yeah my school doesnt offer asl so...self-teaching.

maybe once i get better and learn more signs we could try holding conversations! im still waiting a while until i can sign with others in the ASL video chats on google+ and oovoo and such, you should join.

im also just worried too because i dress oddly and i wouldnt want it to be a distraction for the videos.

I got a vid of me eating a Scorpion lol I would like to put up vids of loads of things but dont want to open myself up to a torrent of abuse from keyboard gangsters that are just out to spoil peoples fun. I take loads of clips on my ps4 to share on FB with friends but not strangers as they are often very negative and spoil the fun.

It is, it's just kind of awkward at first. Because you feel a little odd talking to yourself in a camera. But you can also practice speech skills while making a video. It's just cool :3

Oh, that's not my thing at all... but I admire the people who have the bravery to post videos of themselves online. With so many trolls and bullies running rampant on YouTube, I don't think I could last very long there.
