Have you ever sang in the shower and what did you sing?

As a kid I used to do this because I thought no one could hear me over the running water. After two weeks I found out my family not only heard me but made fun of me. What did I sing? "I've been working on the railroad".
Thanks for this!

Nope. I sing so poorly I would stop the water running.

But both of my boys do. They claim they don't, but when they go in there you'll hear all kinds of tunes ... many of which haven't even been written!

For those reasons, I only sing when I am alone; this way I only make the dogs suffer or break car windows.

I sing in the aisles of the supermarket sometimes because I feel comfortable there. Get some odd looks when a tall guy with a skinhead starts belting out one direction in the cereal aisle lol
Thanks for this!

I found this so relatable....I miss the music in the supermarket (not that you could sing to it really)

But I have always wished that the supermarket was like musical theater.....
I would SO participate
Thanks for this!

When I was little I would sing "The Star Spangled Banner" so much that my mom yelled at me to shut up.

I sing a lot in the shower. Lately it's been Skrillex.

Its really wierd but yes I love singing in the bath/ shower. I sing my heart out! Dont stop believing is a favourite. Ive spent a long time pondering why and I think it allows steam to the depth of the lungs and for some reason thats good.

I haven't thought about it in a long time. But.

When I was younger (kid/teenager), I would sing while bathing, showering, or using the bathroom. One day, I was singing in the bath as a young teenager and heard my mom and sister talking about it. I had always realized they could hear me, but never thought about it much.

I stopped doing it that day.

I used to as a teenager because I'd have the stereo blaring while I showered. No music when I shower now, so no singing. But man oh man I can belt 'em out in the car now!

NO, no singing much of anywhere lately.....never in the shower because I always have to have an accompaniment & never had a radio or stereo in the bathroom. Sometimes in the car with a CD....but never could remember words in the first place....so it was more like humming a melody.

Never much fun IMO....so I never bothered. I did enough singing in choir to satisfy my desire to sing.
