Hi I will Introduce myself,
My formerly known user name was 'perfectlyflawed'. The reason I changed my username was I felt strange being called 'perfect' in chat or the forums. I am not a perfect person in Psych Central nor in real life. So my conscience did bother me about it. I should have foreseen that and picked a different username to begin with but lesson learned. I finally have the courage to change it now. I chose to change it to Ibex. The Alpine Ibex goat that balances on the little vertical edges of the cliffs sides of a dam in Italy and in other places. I have great admiration for these creatures. It reminds me of bipolar trying to balance between mania and depression. The sheer bravery of facing a precipice. So I know I will feel better with my new user name and not feel strange by it. Thank you to the admin/moderators for allowing me to change my username and the time you put into it. I appreciate it. ![]()

Ibex! That is great. How appropriate for so many of us navigating our perilous days.

Traveling west back toward Eden (interestingly the wise men in the Gospel account of Jesus' birth came from the East), has been full of confrontation with the trials and tribulations of living outside the Garden. She is an artist without doubt disappointed that paradise was not as close in 1969 as she and so many others hoped it was. Her work is now filled with the reality of humanity's failure to achieve the prophetic dream of her song, but never without the hope that that day will yet come. |
