That's PRETTY Quilt I made my dog Heidi~ Great job. She will be nice and comfy cozy on it when she sleeps. I wish I had patience to do something like that. Ya know what would be cool, if you took a pic with her on it and put it up in the gallery? Quilt I made my dog Heidi~

That is absolutely gorgeous -- a work of art. I presume Heidi is a terrier -- can't think of the name right now (a senior moment!), but I have known several, and I threaten periodically to elope with one named Chumley and make him my own.

Good job. thanks for sharing the great pic.

Oh, wow, Beth!!! Where do you get the patience to do all that work??? It would drive me nuts sewing all those little pieces of material together. No doubt I would mess it up royal!! Quilt I made my dog Heidi~

Wow Beth!! You did a great job!!
It is absolutely beautiful!!
I agree, you need to take a picture of your dog on it. That would be sooo cute.
How's the new car running??

That's kewl.

Septie, you don't have to use small squares, the real thing is to put the batting in the middle and stitch over and around it. Quilt I made my dog Heidi~

Of course, it is something you can do by hand, if you need something to do while waiting in a doctor's office too.

But with a sewing machine? That would be easy and fun, imo.

Yah... Bethy explained it to me while we were both looking at the picture. Handword is a definite No Can Do. I can't hold something as small as a needle for any length of time. Sometimes I can't even hold my fork to eat. It not only hurts but my hand isn't steady anymore. Quilt I made my dog Heidi~

I really like you dog quilt!

I like the bright red and the dog print fabric.

I go to the fabric store and end up spending way too much on fabrics I just can;t not buy! last time it ws a new print with cats, kind of whimsical but all in browns and grays. Unusual colors for whimsical.
