for the first time in several years i got an invite to a party last night, and i actually went, i didnt have much chance to say no has my friend came around to mine and said get dressed your going out and didnt say where we were going till we got there, i didnt know anyone there so i sat in the kitchen all night, keeping the beers company, but i still enjoyed myself, i didnt get triggered or into a fight so that was a bonus,

i did trip and land on my knee which didnt hurt to much then, now i am in agony, but all in all it was a good night.

That's awesome I am glad that you were able to spend it with your friend. I see that you nursed the beer. Did you drink any? No fights that's always a great start. It's hard to be around people you don't know especially if there is Alcohol involved. You have no idea what to expect new years party kind of scary, but you made it through and had a good night anyway. At least you weren't alone right new years party ? Sorry about your knee new years party Ice and Heat back and forth has always worked for me and for my daughter new years party For all of our spills.
Have a good New Years day, K .

Hmmm, I'm glad someone had a good time. No, actually, I spent it at home but it was an Ok night.
Glad you had fun and glad your friend made you go. But, I am so sorry you now have a hurt knee. I hope there is nothing seriously wrong with it.
No fights? Good job!! Sometimes, parties can get out of hand and glad this one sounds like it was just enjoyable all the way around.
Have a great New Year!!

thanks all for your support regarding my knee, i'm trying not to think about it to much, the ice pack did the job yesterday, anyway its what i expect, i have a good time on one hand, and hurt myself on the other, take the good with the bad i guess, my knee will heal its self, so i am not to worried about it, its not like i am going to be running any marathons this week lol.

Ouch!! I'm sorry you have bursitis. That is soooo painful. I had it in my hip once and the doc gave me a double cortizone shot and spread it and then it went to my shoulder, so had to have another one. Now, I think it is also in my knees as they hurt and ache so bad.
Gosh, I am rambling.
Anyways, I am so sorry and hope you get relief soon.
Take care,
Hugs,
Linda
