I had been feeling very down lately... nothing unusual, but I really needed something to pick me up. Well, I woke up this morning and looked out my window and saw a beautiful, thick blanket of snow. After snow blowing and shoveling our driveway all day (we have one of those large turn around driveways), it was already dark out. After warming up inside, my mom and I went back outside on our snow covered deck. I tried to make a snowman, but the snow wasn't wet enough. Instead, I plopped down onto the ground and made snow angels. I just laid on the snow for nearly 15 minutes staring up at the sky. It was so peaceful. I'm always so paranoid, tense and worried about everything, but for those 15 minutes, I was free. I didn't care that my legs were going numb or that it had started to snow again on top of me, I could've stayed there all night. Of course reality soon hit me and my legs really were going numb, so I went inside and warmed up. I just thought I'd share my experience with everyone.

There is something about fresh snow and snow angels that is so peaceful. I am glad that it helped you feel better. Enjoy your snow. Snow
