Had fun today, helping my husband to cut a hole in the ice on one of our ponds. My husband drove his tractor and cart down to the pond so he could bring a ladder and a chain saw.

Once Winston and Dakota, our Black Angus steers, realized what was going on they came tearing down the back pasture.

Husband used the chain saw to cut the ice. As soon as we moved away from the pond, "the boys" came down to drink. Then they walked up towards us licking their lips, as if to say, "Thank you!"
