This new thread is inspired by the already-existing
corresponding thread for American states.

So, to start with:

Alberta. Stereotyped as the place where all
the oil sands are; sometimes compared with
Alabama in its political views (i.e. redneck
conservative); seen as desperate to convert
its natural resources into money as fast as it
can; has two major cities (Edmonton and Calgary)
that can be each other's bitterest rivals.
Thanks for this!

Ontario: The province of politics, whether you want it to be or not. Place where there is a lot of cool attractions and is pretty well known internationally 'cause we DO have Canada's capital after all. Place of multiculturalism and diverse populations in different parts of the province. A pretty large province, with a lot of water sources.
