Just wondering how many of you are real Star Wars fans. How excited are you for the new movies??????? I live and breath Star Wars, if you do not like Star Wars, you do not belong in my life because that would be so wrong. I can not see a world without it. Only one of my things that pulls me through the rough days. OMG...HARRISON FORD, CARRIE FISHER. MARK HAMILL, how damn awesome is that for the next movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could bottle them and keep them on my nightstand. I don't have much else to keep me going.

Thanks for this!

I grew up with Star Wars: A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. I absolutely LOVED Harrison Ford ~ so handsome and funny, imo. These movies were a huge part of the enjoyable part of my childhood, I knew/know them all by heart.

That said, getting into the newer trilogy was almost impossible for me to get into. I felt that it was impossible to appreciate Parts 4, 5, and 6 if I accepted 1, 2, and 3. I just couldn't do it. If they made the beginning trilogy less a lot less technical, maybe then I could accept it.

My point is that I can appreciate your excitement and devotion to the series. I am happy that you still get some joy in your life. That's important ~ kudos to you!

Return of the Jedi was the last movie I saw in a theater. Now, star wars are akin to the Stewart v Rivers kerfuffle.

I am REALLY hoping that JJ Abrams and pals can make a better go of the saga than the last pre-trilogy.

The beauty of the first films was the campy sense of humor and warmth. Jar-Jar's movies were so weighed down in galactic politics (yawn)

I saw some photo stills on TMZ and I am THRILLED that the new movies will have less CGI and more "muppetty" latex real-life prop effects. I love CGI when it is used well and supports the story. I hated the use of CGI in the jar jar trilogy---nothing felt "real"

Go latex characters!!

OK SW fans, does anyone know what species Yoda is? Does it even have a name?

You're going to love this Sorcerer666-

The day Star Wars opened, the first, original Star Wars, my bff and I were sitting in the front row, doing chocolate mescaline and throwing popcorn at Darth Vater.

(And I saw the Beatles in concert in St. Louis when I was fifteen.)

Sometimes it's good to be old!

I remember when Star Wars came out, I was told I was too young to go, but all my older siblings went, I was so upset, I had to stay home and watch Winnie the Pooh. I did get to see Empire Strikes Back at the Drive-In, my sisters took me. Nobody knew I was gonna become such a Star Wars Fan.(my collection lets people know!)

Didn't care for the prequels, but I have a good feeling about the next set of films. May the force be with them!

I love sci-fi. I get the biggest joy from seeing neat star ships. I have several Star Wars figures, Lego sets, a few novels, Micro Machines, video games, and RPG books. When I played the West End Games RPG, my friends thought I would chose one of the Jedi templates. Nope! I had a different choice....think you could guess? I didn't mind the prequils. I like the Clone Wars tv series. I would love to be able to get the new RPG book & dice sets. Anyways, 'May the Force be with you!'
