Are they waiting for a bus???
It would be animals for me too very likely. There are a few posts here about inter-species friendships. Those make me feel something like hope.
Thanks for this!

I don't have a picture I seen glowing jellyfish at the Indian River Inlet in Delaware. They look like little balls floating on top of the water.

I was in VA near the Shenandoah National park one time in the middle of the night and looked over in a field and it was lit up like a lantern with lightning bugs. It was awesome. I glad I had a witness. I woke my daughter up for that one.

Strict enforcement of strict water and emissions regulations. There is no such thing as clean coal or clean fracking water.

For me, plants and animals are pretty high on the list. I like the fact that there is such a neat variety of living things in this world, and it's not all about humans and our (often self-created) problems. When I got the opportunity to go to the Baltimore Aquarium and the Botanical Gardens in DC, I felt a sense of calm and wonder.

Another thing that I think is good in the world is our ability to be creative. Some people think that the arts are a waste of time, but I think that they add a lot to one's life. I admire the talent that goes into playing a musical instrument, or into making a pencil drawing that's so precise that it looks real. Last night on FB someone shared pictures of this artist that paints live people so that they look like 2D paintings, and I'm blown away by some of the pictures I've seen of the work of 3D street chalk artists.
Thanks for this!

You know with all this religious extremism and intolerance, I too believe Buddhism is exactly the cure.

Unfortunately, Buddhists just aren't the sort to exert their religion actively like the more mainstream one's.

Other great things are music, comedy, how easy it is to connect with friends and loved ones, advances in medicine, sports, books....

A little more activism. A lot less apathy.
