Definitely Monopoly. In fact, I still own the Monopoly set my mom bought for me when I was eight years old. So my Monopoly game is 43 years old Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to play board games with.
Thanks for this!

Apples to Apples is great, but I never have more than 1 or 2 other people around.
I think that Racko is fun; Pass the Pigs is always a pleaser! Yahtzee, checkers, Jenga are simple and fun too.

We have a few other fun games, but I can't recall their titles & it's a bit too late to be poking around the games.

I used to like Candy Land.

I doubt they sell it anymore, all the kids seem to busy with their hand held game devices and consoles.

I've always wanted to try Ouija board, just to see how it will affect my sanity.
Thanks for this!

Candy Land was fun.

I have an Ouija board that I got when I was a child, so it's pretty old. I used to use it when I was a teen but I don;t use it anymore. I have the feeling that Ouija boards attract low-level spirits and potentially bad energy. Still, they are cool to have.

I played "Wits and Wagers" with my extended family last year at Christmas - it was fun!

All of the questions have answers that are a number... everyone writes down what they think the correct answer is... you put all the answers down in order, and then you BET (chips) on which is right! So even if you don't know much, you can still win by figuring out who DOES know

The best part. We had an age range of ~18 to ~60s or so. One question was, "what year did prohibition end?". My lovely 18 year old cousin guessed... something like 1984!

Not that I'm into that anymore, (modern age has taken me ) but I used to love Monopoly and Scrabble, particularly the former.

Someone has started a board games club locally and i said i would go along. I've only really played Scrabble and i don't recognize a lot of the US games. Risk always used to be big , i think, and Trivial Pursuit of course.

Just remembered this cool game my biological mother taught me yeeeears ago... I can't even remember much of it, now, I just remember that it was on paper, and had something to do with drawing a grid and removing lines, I think. I also loved hangman; that was a lotta fun.
